Join us for the opening celebration of Handmade, the newest exhibit at the historic Belton Train Depot.
On Sunday, Sept. 8, from 3 to 5 pm, the depot will be the setting for a pop up craft show featuring artisans and traditional crafters demonstrating their skills and sharing their wares.
In addition to the crafters, the exhibit will be revealed for all to enjoy. Vintage and antique articles all made by hand are on display. From utilitarian to the most ornate, items include quilts, tatted furniture covers, handmade lace, cobbled shoes, ironwork, ceramics, millinery, musical instruments, implements and tools for creating handmade items, and more.
Sponsored by Anderson County ATAX and the City of Belton HTAX, the exhibit is free to visit.
