Everyone is invited to go on a fun outing to Discovery Island Water Park, part of the Greenville County Recreation Department facilities.
With thrilling water slides, delicious concessions, and a number of water attractions by the pool, Discovery Island at Southside Park (Simpsonville) has something for everyone to do under the summer sun.
We have arranged a group reservation for June 26. Please call the museum at 864-338-7400 to reserve your space by paying $20 per person attending by June 23 (under 2 years old free admission).
This payment includes entrance fee, a lunch of pizza and drink, and all taxes. A special area designated just for our group will be available.
We will meet at the depot at 10 AM and caravan to Simpsonville. BAMA will pay one lump sum before the group enters. All children must be chaperoned by a family member or responsible adult.
Planned exit time is 2 PM, but once you have entered, you can stay as long as you like to enjoy a full day of activities. Park closes at 5:30 PM.

4-Tier Splash ‘n Play Structure in the zero-depth section of the pool.
FlowRider Perpetual Wave (Wave-generating ride for surfing and boogie boarding. Only one in SC!) All FlowRider participants must sign waiver to ride the FlowRider.

Know Before You Go
Individuals under 42” must wear a US Coast Guard approved life jacket at all times
Individuals 48″ and taller can ride the yellow body slide and the blue tube slide.
Individuals under 48″ tall can ride the blue tube slide with someone 16 years or older.
Individuals 42″ and taller can ride the FlowRider.
Individuals 48″ and taller can do stand-up surfing on the FlowRider on Sundays.
All FlowRider participants must sign waiver to ride the FlowRider.
