BAMA is excited to announce that it will be hosting The 7th Annual Community-wide Rummage and Craft Sale on the grounds of the Historic Belton Train Depot on Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 9 AM – 2 PM.
“It’s your chance to do some early spring cleaning and straighten out those closets, storage sheds, attics, and basements. Bring your gently used items to sell at this big event,” said BAMA volunteer Alison Darby.
“Crafters who are interested in securing a spot are also encouraged to join us,” she added.
For a ten dollar donation to BAMA, a 10 x 10 space will be reserved for all people who wish to participate in the craft and rummage sale. Approximately 40 or more sites are expected to be rented, so there will be a wide variety of items available for shoppers to purchase.
“We will advertise in all available media so we can have a great crowd of shoppers at the depot that Saturday morning of the sale. Everyone who participates should come away with a wonderful profit,” commented Darby.
Vendors should bring their own tables, chairs, tents, and display needs and begin setting up at 7:30 AM the day of the event.
“Even though the event is outdoors, we ask that all people, both sellers and buyers, practice social distancing and wear a face mask to curtail the spread of Covid 19,” said BAMA Executive Director Abigail Burden.
Applications can be picked up at the following locations: City Hall, The BHP News Chronicle Office, the Belton Depot, and Belton Feed and Seed in Belton and at McCall’s Produce in Honea Path.
All space reservations must be paid for in advance. Deadline for reservations will be March 25. Applications and rental fee can be sent to Belton Area Museum Association, 100 N. Main Street, Belton, SC 29627 or dropped off in our secure lock box at the Belton Depot on the Breazeale Street side.
Check out our website at www.beltonmuseum.com or facebook page at Belton Area Museum Association for up to date information about the event.
The event will be cancelled in case of rain and vendors will receive a full refund. The decision will be made the morning of the event.
